Most watch collector appoint a "beater" to be in their collection. Beater is a watch that is less expensive and get select when expecting more action that can results in scratch and dent. While the rest of our collections are either too pricy or too rare to drag in the mud, beater is something we won't feel too sorry even if we have to throw it away.Like others, I have a dedicated beater, my Casio G-Shock GIEZ. The watch is accurate, very durable, and pack with all the interesting features. It got alarm, perpetual calendar(normally very expensive on automatic), GMT, and stop watch. Water resistance is a given, of course. Even though the watch has luminous marker, I feel like, since this is quartz, they shouldn't hold back and throw in the light function somehow. Only then will this watch be perfect.
